Mission

The Coordination Section serves as the first point of contact and a one-stop hub for consultations from individuals (students and faculty/staff) as well as those involved with them (parents and faculty/staff). Our role is to coordinate and connect people to appropriate support resources, both within and outside the university.

Services

(1) Internal and External Collaboration

We support the smooth delivery of assistance to students and faculty/staff by collaborating with various on-campus consultation offices, off-campus support organizations, and parents. We also provide consultation services to those who are uncertain how to respond to a situation.

(2) Early Intervention

<Students>
We conduct “New Student Interviews (May)” for incoming students, “Startup Seminars (September and March)” for students experiencing difficulty earning credits (including those returning from leave of absence), and outreach to students with consecutive absences from specific courses.

<Faculty and Staff>
Working alongside supervisors, occupational physicians, and off-campus support organizations, we respond at an early stage to help individuals connect with the support they need.

(3) Emergency Response

In the event of an incident, accident, or suicide, we coordinate with relevant university departments. We serve a coordinating role within the post-incident response team.

(4) Psychoeducational Activities

授業や研修、グループ活動、セルフケア資料(心身の健康増進に関するセルフケア・スキルの情報を掲載)の作成・配布を通じて、学生や教職員に対して予防的・開発的な支援を行います。

(5) Recommendations for University-Wide Support Systems

We analyze various data to better understand the needs of students and faculty/staff, and work with other divisions within the Campus Life and Health Support Center to make recommendations toward building appropriate support systems across the university.

※ Please note that we are unable to disclose information about an individual’s use of the Campus Life and Health Support Center without their consent (except in emergencies).
